Overview on the Boston Traders
Boston Traders is a global apparel company that was established in the year 1968 by childhood friends Arnold Kline and Jack Stahl. The two founders were born in Massachusetts during the depression. Many have tried to copy Boston Trader's creations but you can never duplicate clothing that features such attention to detail, such a unique feel and look. Back in the 1970s, the Boston Traders have dominated the scene with button downs, corduroys and traditional flannels of really high quality. Their "updated traditional" category was very popular and all the major specialty retailers and department stores carried the Boston Traders brand. Since then, the Boston Traders has quickly become one of the leading figures in the rugged outdoor look and their products are still maintaining a top position. Products provided by the Boston Traders include: t-shirts, pants, sweaters, shorts, outwear and rugged outdoor wear.
Boston Traders can be found today in Chile, Peru, Brazil, Canada and the US. Boston Traders create apparel using Peruvian cotton as it is believed that Peru has the finest cotton en earth. In 1994 the company was purchased by Designs INC. and a new company was founded. Boston Trading Co. operates today over 150 Outlets and full-price stores.
